Al ‘AC’ Shaw Al “AC” Shaw, a native of Mandeville, Jamaica, moved to Maryland with his family at age two. His love for performing began in elementary school through choir and stage productions and continued throughout high school. After earning a Voice Scholarship to Bethune-Cookman University and performing with the renowned Concert Chorale, AC expanded his musical training from gospel to opera. During college, he discovered a passion for broadcasting, changing his major to Mass Communication. Since then, he has connected with audiences across multiple stations, markets, and dayparts throughout his radio career. When not on the air, Al “AC” Shaw continues to be behind the microphone in the voiceover world, voicing characters for film, animation and national advertisements.
