Days before Star Wars-themed fan jerseys take over Marlins Park on May the Fourth, the Miami Marlins have unveiled a new look for their players. The team’s latest “City Connect 2.0” uniforms, part of a years-long collaboration between Major League Baseball and Nike, are meant to celebrate the city’s cultural identity using “unique color schemes, typefaces, and graphic elements distinct from home and away uniforms.
You can get your own merch when “City Connect 2.0” jerseys, caps, and other merchandise go on sale at the Marlins Team Store at LoanDepot Park starting this Saturday, May 3, at 10 a.m. Marlins Members get priority access, with sales starting at 9 a.m.The “305” baseball cap will surely be among the store’s most popular items.
